Closed#280: "With Selected" menu does not fire EntryPreEdit/EntryPostEdit delegates

In content.publish.php the “With Selected” dropdown menu doesn’t fire the EntryPreEdit or EntryPostEdit delegates when updating an entry. The Delete delegate is fired when deleting an entry, but when, for example, toggling a Checkbox field from Yes to No the edit delegates are not fired.

Some extensions, such as Search Index, CacheLite and Entry Revisions, rely on the edit delegates to keep their cache/indexes up to date.

There is indeed a note in the PHP file to add this delegate:

## TODO: Add delegate

I consider this more a bug than a feature (since it didn’t perform the behaviour I expected) so would this be eligible for fix in 2.0.8?

Nick, I had a go at implementing this for S&G, but not sure how to test it as I’m unfamiliar with those extensions.

It’s in this commit, well, the previous one for a diff, but you’ll want the first one to test with. :)

Woop! Thanks mate. I’ll double check and report back shortly.

I can confirm this is working as intended. Cheers Brendan.

Woohoo :D
