Has anyone done something like this? Or can JIT be extended easily to offer this kind of manipulation?
The JIT code itself can be extended easily, but I don't think you can extend it via another extension, which I guess is what want?

Well, of course it would be nice, if the extension itself was not hacked.

there are free modes left at jit. what should be the purpose of them?

I'm aware that JIT Image Manipulation offers a resize and crop option (
2) but I'm looking for something slightly different:The given image should first be cropped just like mode
3does. The result should then be resized a given dimension like using mode1.Has anyone done something like this? Or can JIT be extended easily to offer this kind of manipulation?
