Symphony.

I was wondering how everyone uses git tags?

When you clone Symphony, you get all the Symphony tags. But I recently thought to myself that I should be tagging my site each time I make a major update, in case I need to revert to the last stable code. Since Symphony has tags for each version, I was wondering how I should tag my code.
