Issue #1: For some reason Symphony is redirecting my non-www domain to my www domain. I'm not using any code in my .htaccess file to do this. So, why is this happening?

Issue #2: A really weird 302 redirect is being found on my www domain, and is redirecting it from http://www.domain.com to http://www.domain.com// notice the extra slash at the end...

This is causing me issues with some of the SEO tools I use, not to mention the optimization itself. Any ideas?

Here is a pasty of my .htaccess file: http://pastie.org/8649476

I don't have any route or redirect defined in my Symphony installation either...

Others might know better, but there is missing Options +FollowSymlinks -Indexes entry in the beginning (or its not visible in the pastie code).

But the .htaccess format depends also on Symphony version you use. Which one is it?

Also, is the .htaccess unchanged, or had you customized it?

And when did these issues started? Its a new site? Did you updated the system? Or changed something in back-end (content, DS, page settings...)?

maybe the initial rewrite from example.com to www.example is done at serverconfig. the second issue is amazing. on my symphony installation all double slashes were automatic removed.

What's causing the 302 redirect is the extension named "Multilingual" from Jens Scherbl. I will publish this issue in the respective thread.

Thanks!

Best to report it to its github, if you think its a bug. Or first search for existing issues or waiting pull request there.

Thanks!
