Hello,

I am about to upgrade my server to PHP 5.4 and MySQL 5.5 and I wonder if old Symphony installations, e.g. Symphony 2.2.3, will still be working?

Thanks for any help.

I had small minor problems with 1 or 2 extensions that didn't comply with PHP 5.4.

Otherwise, all good.

Create a back-up, try to change, and see what happens.

I had some problems with PHP 5.4, and I had to revert to PHP 5.3.

You may get some notices about deprecated features and warnings which can you suppress by tweaking your error reporting. There's other things that have been fixed along the way, so your mileage may vary.

I ran into a couple of issues, but luckily I was able to fix them by simply upgrading to 2.3.
