For example, I created a data source 'product'on website backend, the server will generate a php file named 'data.product.php', I do not know why everytime you create or modify a DS , at the beginning of the php files' <php? class 'always miss a space into' <php?class ..> ',It will lead to a problem page can not be displayed after each save DS, , I can not find the reason.

Is your website running on a Windows based server?

No,It is LMNP

I've seen the above happen on a windows local setup (not mine), never had the issue on linux / mac as far as I'm aware.

I've told the guy to temporarily edit the DS manually, to split them into newlines, though not a great thing to have to edit it every time.

Well, so be it

Ok this is fairly interesting, I'm very curious to get to the bottom of this.

  • What version of Symphony are you running?
  • Do you have many extensions installed, are you able to provide a list?
  • Is this error isolated to the production environment only (can you reproduce elsewhere)?
  • What distro are you running?

The code that's responsible for removing placeholders in datasources was modified in Symphony 2.6 for better Windows support (#2259). I am aware of further fixes in #2468 that are currently in queue for release with Symphony 2.6.3, perhaps you could give that a try?

OK,my environment is: Version:Symphony 2.6.2
