Symphony.

Is there an extension that can create a datasource from a REST API that uses OAuth? I saw the posts about reading the Twitter API from a few years ago, but it wasn't clear how it was resolved.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Not sure if this is any help, just by the name of it:

If you want to create an API for a symphony back end, this is a great extension, it requires a (backend) user account (I don't think it s possible to configure for a member account).

If you need to embed an external API within your symphony front end, I am afraid Twitter is the most proprietary API out there, you will probably have to go through the https://dev.twitter.com/ create an account configure your app and widgets (embed timelines) etc, etc... Then save the widget ids in your backend to publish on front end.
