This isn't really a bug, more like a "what if"...

I was just filling in the installation form with database details etc but when I tried to put in my email address it wouldn't accept the plus sign before the at symbol. for example:

myemail+theoperator@gmail.com

this is something I use to filter my gmails with and I assume a small amount of other people do too. It's not stopping me totally, I could always use another email, but maybe someone else might not want to.

Any ideas on this one?

I think this is just a case of a slightly too restrictive validation check. It should allow + symbols. This is a bug.
