A new Extension, “A/B Split Test” is now available for download. Comments and feedback can be left here but if you discover any issues, please post it on the issue tracker.

I would really like to get people’s feedback about the effects this extension could have on search engine rank. As a result, I would not use this on a production website that has a good ranking until we investigate potential side effects.

The extension randomly chooses to serve the original page or the page with a parameter set. It does not offer any built-in tracking and assumes you have an analytics package installed already.

Anyone have expertise on this search engine stuff?

A/B Split Test updated to version 1.1 on 6th of July 2010

Hey Lewis, do you still maintain this extension? Thinking about using it on our agencies website (a 2.2.5 build) :)

I'll test and update this week.

Tested with 2.2.5 and works great. Updated with extensions meta file.

Great stuff, thanks!
