Please note that if you have additional fields defined for your list in MailChimp, then you must include these fields in your form.
@Fazal, thanks for posting your errors! The extension was using deprecated authentication and I clarified the readme file so people know merge fields must be declared if they have any.
Hey Lewis, can you update the plugin version to 1.13 since the new Ajax Capabilities of the plugin ?

- Fixed Ajax bug.
Hello, thanks for the plugin Lewis.
I just installed it but I get this error when I go to Blueprints
-> Components
and then click on the MailChimp
event:
Fatal error: Class 'Frontend' not found in /www/htdocs/w013s43f/designbits.de/extensions/mailchimp/events/event.mailchimp.php on line 14
Is this intentional?
I haven't even implemented the form yet...
What version of Symphony are you running?
@Tintin81: Fix in my last pull request ... Thanks for reporting, even thought I fixed it before I saw your post !
MailChimp
updated to version 1.16
on 18th of July 2011
- 1.16 A couple bug fixes including issue #3 (Thanks nitriques).
@Lewis: I am using 2.2.1
Thanks for your help. I had to move to another project in the meantime, but will get back to the MailChimp plugin later.
Get the last version from github and you should be ok
Is anyone modifying it so it has the new, simpler embed code?
Fork it and submit a pull request :-)
I'm having an issue when an user already in the list tries to subscribe: symphony get this error
loadXML(): EntityRef: expecting ';' in Entity, line: 48
I'm running symphony 2.2.3 and Mailchimp 1.16
Any idea on how to fix it?
I'll try to take a look tonight or tomorrow.
Will troubleshoot over the weekend; got caught up with work.
@iltrico, I can't replicate this. Can you add var_dump($api->errorMessage); die()
to line 102 of event.mailchimp.php
and post the response.

@Fazal, Had not time to test, please confirm that it solves your problem. Thanks!
