Hello there,

I'm currently copying blog entries from an old blog into Symphony and therefore uploading lots and lots of pictures (using a Section Link). I don't know why, but sometimes I just can't upload a foto as Safari will display an error, something along the line that my server wouldn't respond. Uploading will work eventually, and if it works, it works in a snap – but trying 6+ times to do so can be a bit nerve-wracking. I do have the impression that the upload works better in Firefox, though, and that the problem occurs when uploading "larger" pictures – but this means 150KB compared to 20KB.

I don't actually think that this has anything to do with Symphony, but I thought I might just as well throw this into the Symphonians' arena … :)

Has anybody encountered similar problems?

Yes, I experience the same problem with Safari. If I have to upload a lot of pictures, I use Firefox/Mac. I have never understood this Safari problem. It is not limited to Symphony 2, but occurs in version 1.7 as well.
