A new extension, “Builder” is now available for download. Comments and feedback can be left here but if you discover any issues, please post it on the issue tracker.

This is the extension that power the Builder Ensemble.

Yes!!!!!

This is just pure genius. I’ve never seen so many people wide eyed and open mouthed in one room before, when this was presented at Symposium.

Seriously well done with this!

There’s a joke there, but I’ll leave it your imagination :P

Pure magic.

Any plans to update it to work with 2.2.1?

I know some FOSS apps that have similar in-app 'add module with a click' features. Hmmm... In fact didn't the very, very early builds (before OS) of symphony had it too, along with automatic updating?

Currently you need an ensemble with builder to build another ensemble, but would it be possible to have builder as the default included extensions, and within one build, automagically install extra ensembles, like we now check them to activate?

And how about the possibility to grab and install any compatible github repo, not just symphony extensions? So you can check off jquery plugins to be installed.
