Do you like to write? Are you crazy about Symphony? Have a couple of spare hours a week?

If your answer to at least two of those questions is yes, you should consider joining the Documentation Working Group.

We’re seeking one or two more volunteers who want to help take Symphony to the next level, and make the platform more accessible for users and developers. It’s a great opportunity to work closely with the funny and brilliant folks who build our favorite CMS.

If you’re interested, please respond to this post or contact me on Twitter (@jonasdowney.) For more information about the working groups, see Craig’s blog post.

Is your focus going to be on 2.1 or on 3.0?

As the 2 branch is the official release, I would hope that it would be for 2.1… There’s so much I would like to read up on for Symphony, best practices for Symphony methods, I’m sure I’m currently doing things in a very convoluted method.

So looking for ward to all this being drip fed into the site…

I haven’t got enough time myself I’m afraid to contribute.

I think 3.0 is still rather far away, and there are enough holes in the current docs that we’ll probably concentrate on 2.1.
