Hello Symphony,

I’m a new very enthousiast fan of Symphony, not yet a great xslt expert. I want to implement a jquery slider with some banners and a text description on each banner.

But how can i make the static javascript dynamic and add it to the xslt slide/entry code?

Thanks for your help.

<script type="text/javascript"> if(!window.slider) var slider={};slider.data=[ {"id":"slide-img-1","client":"","desc":"1The image slideshow on the left is independent extension called JSN ImageShow."}, {"id":"slide-img-2","client":"","desc":"2The image slideshow on the left is independent extension called JSN ImageShow."}, {"id":"slide-img-3","client":"","desc":"3The image slideshow on the left is independent extension called JSN ImageShow."} ]; </script>

Hello!

So your question is actually related to the frontend of your site and not so much related the backend, i.e. Symphony.

I would recommend checking out: http://jquery.malsup.com/cycle/ and/or http://www.ndoherty.biz/2009/10/coda-slider-2/

Both are great jQuery plugins for what you’re trying to do (I think).

Which values in your code do you want to make dynamic? Are you wanting to process content from your sections into the code?
