Search

I have a portfolio page which displays a list of categories (defined in a category section in Symphony) to filter to a single category. Each portfolio piece can have multiple categories.

I have a category page, which is a child of the portfolio page - which has a URL parameter so I get this:

http://domain.com/portfolio/category/category-name

What I want is to get the “category-name” bit at the end of the URL. The current page paremeter ($current-page) obviously displays “category” as the category name isn’t a physical page.

How would I get it? I’m sure there is a simple way that I am missing!

Cheers!

You need to set your page to have a parameter “category-name” (in the pages editor).

It should then appear as $category-name in your Parameter pool next to your XML.

Thanks a lot! I knew it would be simple!
