That is a very cool idea, Nick! It should be noted, however, that the extension does not perform a server-side check. If the user switches off JavaScript, he can still use the name of his cat as password. So in the README:
The user can not complete the form unless all rules are satisfied.
You might add “…as long as JavaScript is activated in the browser.” or something like this.
Yes indeed. I see this more of a way to stop users being stupid. If they disable JavaScript then they should be free to be as stupid as they wish, in a system that assumes JavaScript is enabled.
