Symphony.

Earlier in my project everything seems to be work fine but now the file upload is not working properly dont know why if i upload an image the image name is stored as something like this sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.ssssssssssssss

dont know what went wrong , no errors still now, any help/tips

Are you using source control? (If not you should be.) Can you roll back to a previous version to see when the bug was introduced?

yes am using source control, but it is hard to find in which version , the file upload worked , because after that we went for 100 revisions of code, other than that any other tips ?

Step through your code, function by function, to see where the file name changes. Or use your source control application to list revisions only when your upload field files were changed. It sounds as though you're using custom code, rather than this being a Symphony bug?

This problem arises because the local config file mismatches with the server file , when i uploaded the local mainfest/config into the server the problem got fixed !
