A new extension, "Minimal Backend" is now available for download. Comments and feedback can be left here but if you discover any issues, please post it on the issue tracker.

This extension was built to allow easier navigation of the backend on small screens.

The vertical space of the header and footer are minimized and the navigation bar floats when the content is scrolled upwards so it is always accessible.

A tiny extension that originated from a UI discussion on github. This extension should be especially helpful for content packed backends that need to be accessed from netbooks.
