I've added a file upload field to one of my sections but every time I attempt to use it, I get an error:

There was a problem rendering this page. Please check the activity log for more details.

When I check the entries in the logs folder, I can't seem to find anything related to the attempt. What should I be looking for? Is this a permissions issue?

Cheers.

That error is a generic "something went wrong, but I'm not sure what" error. I am working making sure you always get meaningful errors, but for now, check the permissions on the destination folder are okay.

Oh, are you using rev4?

It didn't appear to be permissions. I am using rev4, though.

Not entirely sure what's going on then. Any chance I can take a peek?

Unfortunately not. I'll keep poking around.

My bad.

It turned out to be an ownership / permissions issue. Problem solved for now, albeit not super elegantly.

Non-symphony question: does anyone know of a good tutorial on implementing suexec at a directory level?

Cheers.
