Does anyone know a good replacement for http://opencountrycodes.appspot.com/ ?

Seems like the datasource is no longer available (there is a zipped xml file, but I'd rather have a dynamically updated source). I already considered using this google geolocation feed, but it is missing the iso-3166 country codes.

Geonames.org have masses of data like this available, you might want to check them out.

Caching then locally makes sense (from a zip). How often do country codes change? ;-)

I'll give this a try, and no worry, I do cache the list once it is downloaded :)
