Symphony.

I have a news section with a date/time field called event date. This field is only completed if the news article relates to an event on a specific date.

I need to pull out a list of articles which either have no event date (ie they don't expire) or which have event date that is today or later.

I can filter results by later than today, but that excludes entries for which no event date is set.

Can anyone suggest how I could go about this please?

Maybe you could use two data-sources and then merge them back using a union-datasource?

That's the first thing that comes to mind; not too sure you could use a single datasource to get both data-sets.
