Any ideas about a nice and tidy way of ID-ing issues?

It’s not too important but I’d like to not let messages count towards issue IDs as well. Symphony knows only one sitewide ID, may it be an issue, a project or a message. This means issue numbers would lie apart by quite a bit and you’ll get in the thousands quite fast. Not very user friendly. :-)

Ha, while looking at “#2 Open Ticket: Issue ID” I just noticed this issue tracker here does exactly what I want, even better: Every new extension/ensemble/whatnot has its own counter.

I was just about to mention this when looking at the screenshots, I’ve been trying to figure out how to create unique ids for separate sections as against the site IDs automatically created for a while, but still can’t figure out how either.
