It works fine with Symphony, no problems so far. The host itself can get bogged down at times with traffic, so don’t have too high of expectations. But if its just for a small business or personal site, then it works great.

For the most part they seem to be quite stable. I had a few clients on their service and there uptime was pretty good. Sometimes their services do get a little slow, but they stay up. Their customer support folks are fairly nice and helpful. It’s a good budget host to consider.

It has worked well for me for over 3 years but all I have there is a relatively low traffic personal blog. The blog ran most of that time on WordPress. I switched to Symphony CMS about 3 months ago.

Best. Customer. Service.

Have been working with Bluehost for around 3 years, with 1 year running multiple sites on the same account - most of being symphony-based.

No issues at all with setting up symphony, however if there is a technical issue with the server and site's down you're not notified... So you'd have to discover it for yourself.

Speed is not great, but for a small website / personal blog should be fine. Even spiked traffic with over 8000 views daily without going completely down. As with other shared hosts you're a bit dependent on other users not over-using their 'share'
