      <description>&lt;p&gt;Symphony 2.2.4 is a recommended update for all users, which contains primarily contains fixes and improvements to the core's Date field and closes some low risk security holes.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This release rolls back functionality for &lt;strong&gt;PHP5.2&lt;/strong&gt; users that allowed Symphony to better support European date formats. Please note that &lt;strong&gt;PHP 5.3&lt;/strong&gt; is recommended for all European date formats.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Some low risk security vulnerabilities reported by &lt;a href="http://www.mavitunasecurity.com/xss-and-sql-injection-vulnerabilities-in-symphony-cms/"&gt;Mavituna Security&lt;/a&gt; have also been resolved in this release.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
