One-up your favorite CMS in five easy steps.
Step 2. Determine Upgrade Method
You already installed Symphony using one of two methods: Package-based or Git-based. You'll need to stick with the same method for upgrades.
Note: if you also want to switch from a Package-based approach to Git, it's best to install a new site using Git and migrate your customizations — see Getting Git for Symphony Development for more information on setting up a Git-based site.
