Step 4. Run the updater

Symphony's files are now up to date, but we need to tell your site that an update is happening. Visit http://yoursite.com/install/ and verify the versions reported — it should indicate your current version, and the target upgrade version. This page will also let you know if there is anything you should take note of to do before or after you upgrade. If everything looks OK, click Update Symphony and wait for the process to complete.

Note: If you are updating to a version of Symphony prior to Symphony 2.3, you will need to visit http://yoursite.com/update.php to run the update script.
