It'll take longer than seven days, but boys and girls, there's going to be a Symphony book.

Symphony Start to Finish will be published by Wrox, and will be written to cover the sexy and intriguing Symphony 3. Speaking of sexy and intriguing, the book's technical editor will be your very own Allen Chang! applause here

As for the author, I think they just pulled some vagrant out of a dumpster and gave him a typewriter. Something about budget cuts.

Will this book only cover Symphony 3 / launch alongside symphony 3?

Very, very nice!

Thanks, all!

@timteka Not sure, but I’d imagine so.

@kanduvisla Yes, that’s correct. It will have a section detailing key differences between v2 and v3, but officially it will only cover version 3.

really great news!

This great, I love working from books. First impressions are good, enjoyed the tone of the intro. Well done.

This is such great news, looking forward to the book.
And Craig, could you write my memoires when you are done, please? ;-)

The website is flippin’ awesome. Way too cool. Excited about the book too.

Awesome news, guys! Maybe I’ll finally learn to use the damn thing. :)

I’m so excited about the Symphony book. And you’ve done a great job with the site, Craig. I love the idea of the comments system for gathering constructive criticism of the contents as they are written.

Looks pretty cool so far…

Just compare the book site with digress.it plugin for wordpress, Craig really did great job!

Look forward to your masterpiece.

Well done! Symphony certainly deserves to and has every right to shoulder those Wordpress and Joomla books aside and claim some shelf space for it’s own!

Wow, I really wish I could pre-order this thing now.
