Just a brief note to announce the release of Symphony 2.1.2, which includes some important security improvements, performance enhancements, and bug fixes.

Conspiracy theorists will tell you to avoid version 2.1.2, because adding a zero to the version number makes it 2012 and thus installing it is certain to hasten the end of the world in a dazzling hellstorm of fire and ash.

We’re pretty sure that’s not true.

See the release notes if you have any doubts.

DO NOT INSTALL! THE END IS NEAR!

…just kidding… gonna give it a spin today! Great work Symphony team!

Thanks to everyone who worked on and contributed to this release (and symphony in general). I really love working with symphony :-)

mentioned some curious behavior in this update. If some field in section is empty, in uotput xml there is no this field at all. I’ve got an article with link parametr and a group parametr and had a filtering rule to get page with right group and right link. after update i got empty pages and was very confused. after some investigation i found this behavior and corrected my xslt stylesheet. P.S. i love symphony and this update. Waiting for new releases ))
