Can I only backup the text and the sections

You can use Import/ExportCSV or just take an sql dump of your Symphony MySQL DB

If you want to take all the sections a DB dump would probably be the best option. If you want to start on a 'fresh' symphony install. You would have to export your data; however when it comes to sections I guess you would have to 'rebuild' them.

Oke,
And if I only want to entries. Do I need a db dump or is there a extension for that. It is for a fresh install. I have now still symphony cms 2.x and I want to try to change a few things so my site would work on the newest one.

I think your most intuitive option is the Import/Export CSV extension linked to above.

Because Im going to move my site to another place and want to change a little bit I wonder if I could only make a backup of the text and the sections I made.
