I need to censor user created entries. I want to prevent users from posting personal info (email addresses, phone numbers), as well as curse words and URLs. It doesn’t look like anyone has done this before. I think the easiest way would be to implement a text formatter that has a blacklist (probably need regular expressions?). But this would not give feedback to the user. I’m not sure if “validation” can be done by anything other than regex. Unless this could be handled by a very long regular expression?
