Hey guys. I recently ran into an issue where text fields got truncated after 65,400 or so characters. I am wondering if anyone knows whether this has to do with the limit on how large a MySQL row can be?

A while ago the MySQL type of Symphony's Textarea field has been changed to MEDIUMTEXT (which allows much more characters), and as far as I remember, an updater script has taken care of changing existing fields.

Could it be that you are talking about a rather old installation which has not been updated?

[EDIT]: I followed your link and see that you are talking about an extension. So your issue has nothing to do with the Symphony core, right?
