Version 2.3.3

I have downloaded 3 extensions at random and uploaded them to my extensions folder. Not show up in the list, so I cannot activate them.

All versions are correct for my version of Symphony.

What am I doing wrong?

Can you list folder names of those 3 extensions, as they appear just right in your extensions folder?

E.g. datetime , image_upload ...

andrewminton-enhanced_upload_field-d9354bc, dump_db-1.10,unpublishedfilter-master

These are folders that I extracted myself and placed in the /extensions folder.

If the simply put the .zip file in that folder, the result is the same.

Neither format is recognized.

Rename the folders to enhanced_upload_field, dump_db and unpublishedfilter.

That worked. Funny, I had tried that before to no effect.

Any idea why no canonical folder name is suggested in the READ ME files?

Like Petertron said.

It has to be without the adjectives, only final names of the extensions. In short, only words connected at most with an underscore _.

Those other titles are temporary download flags - they depend on the download context to identify the download.

Some do, some don't. It is instructed in general in the Symphony's howto section.

Thank you!
