Do you think it would be a generally good idea or feature to let trim entry field's values on leading / trailing whitespace?

Could this be a Symphony feature?

I can not think about a use case where I would need a whitespace around (on the data level), or solely a whitespace as an input value.

But this could get into the core, woudn't it? That whitespace trimming..

It's possible, if you want to open an issue, you'd be more likely to get more people who code the core to see it.
