Search

I'm looking at creating functionality similar to Wordpress for entry titles in a blog context.

The idea being that when an entry is first created the title/@handle is reflected into another field. But importantly becomes uneditable (or at least separately editable). So kind of like the reflection field, that stops reflecting after the entry is created.

Is there anything that already does this?

This would be for similar reasons to why WordPress does this - to enable pretty URLs without giving the end user the ability to break the SEO by changing the title.

Don't know if it's up to date or actively maintained, but the slug field sounds like what you're looking for.

It certainly does, thanks!

Edit: Just gave it a shot and I'm not sure if it's still working correctly. Have raised an issue on Github so will wait and see!
