I'm trying to install an ensemble on a localhost server I created with a package called (http://www.usbwebserver.net/). I normally upload my files to ftp but I think this is kind of a burden. I'm no server guy but I'm trying to get more able with it.

Anyway I checked the server set-up with the requirements and they seem to be good. But when I try to access http://localhost:8080/install/ I get an ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS error. It's not the Chrome issue you read about when you google. But some reading suggests it might have something to do with the htacces file.

Not really a symphony issue but I think this is the best place to ask.

Yep, you'll need to update this line to either remove the <!-- REWRITE_BASE --> or adjust accordingly.

Thanks :)

I tried removing the <!-- REWRITE_BASE --> but I think that is not enough. I suspect I need to add something here to facilitate for trailing slashes or something.
