Hi, I'm new to Symphony after a client has asked us to update his site. I've duplicated the site to our server in a sub directory. When I view the site, all the images are missing and while the link URLs are correct, when I click on a link it's redirecting to the root. Same issue for trying to access the admin area - so I get a 404 page. Its seems to me that I need to add the sub directory to the .htaccess and this would resolve this issue, but I'm not sure where to add it? There's all sorts of rewrite conditions and rules. For example here's the line for the admin rewrite:

RewriteRule ^symphony/?$ index.php?mode=administration&%{QUERY_STRING} [NC,L]

Please help.

If you want the site to run in a subdirectory, it should be enough to change RewriteBase / to RewriteBase /subfolder/.

That worked a treat! Thanks so much.

You're welcome!
