Hello fellows,

I want to shorten JiT-Links even more.

this:

/image/recipe-name/subfolder1/subfolder2/subfolder3/filename.jpg

should become that:

/image/recipe-name/filename.jpg

in the generated source-code.

As far as I know it is possible in .htaccess and directly in the JiT-Recipe extension. What would you consider is the best choice performance- and maintenance-wise ?

Performance is a no op on this: both will yield similar results.

As for the maintenance part, it's up to you: I would rather see the recipe in the xslt template then rather a criptic name. But if you decide to change them all after the site is done, recipe are your friend.
