Hi all,

I have an old Symphony install for which I've forgotten my password. When I plug in my email to the retrieve password page, I receive nothing. Is there a way that I can change the password directly in the database in order to log in?

Thanks!

I don't think there is a way to reset directly, as the passwords are encrypted (MD5 I think) and include a salt.

Do you have access to your server logs to see if an email was attempted? Is the server set up to send emails?

If you have access to the database you can manually update the password using a md5 hash
