Just wondering how to clone a website using the export_ensemble extension.
I downloaded the remote site zip file, and now? I read the authors table is excluded from export, how do I recreate it?

I have never used the export_ensemble extension and ensembles. I think the idea behind it was to create sharable ensembles, about what is mostly called themes with others CMSs. Therefore the authors are not transfered on purpose.

If you want to clone the whole site including authors you can simply copy all the files, export the database. Then reimport it in the new environment and adjust its credentials in config.php. If the site sits in a subfolder you may need to adjust the rewrite_base in the .htaccess file. That’s it.
