I found this handy XSL file, XML Prettyprinter to use with TestXSLT to indent an XML document according to its hierarchical structure.

It's great to find out where the errors are in an external XML source, then format it for use as a static XML data source.

FYI the auto closing tags of testxslt; you need to type </ before they appear, contrary to the autmagically self closing tags we had in s 1.7, dissapeared in the beta, there are comming back in RC right?

Yes, as an extension. It's pretty high on my to-do list. The reason it disappeared is because Safari 3.1 changed its keyboard event model (for the better) which broke my auto-complete JS. I'll need to revise the implementation, but we'll end up with better speed and browser compatibility (IE too) from doing this.
