A new Extension, “Activity Log” is now available for download. Comments and feedback can be left here but if you discover any issues, please post it on the issue tracker.

Symphony already has an ‘activity log’, although its hidden from the navigation, you can still see it at /symphony/system/log/. Unfortunately all it does is echo the /manifest/logs/main file.

So I set about writing my own, which adds some formatting the the log:

Version 1.0.1, 19 May 2009:

  • Initial release, pretty boring.

Any thoughts and suggestions are welcome!

I get a lot of warnings in my activity log, but my site seems to function just fine. Is this something I should worry about or is it not a big deal?

Thanks for the extension, too. :-)

Thanks for the extension!

I didn’t know the log could be seen at /symphony/system/log/. That’s awesomeness in itself. But this extension adds +1 awesome. Thanks!

Agreed. Pretty awesome. Thanks, Rowan.

This is dynamite, Rowan, thanks.
