Symphony.

I’ve been working on a website locally (MAMP), whenever I try to create an entry I have a blank page and in the logs folder:

18:23:55 > WARNING: 2 - Wrong parameter count for session_set_cookie_params() in file /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/domain/symphony/lib/core/class.session.php on line 52

Is there something I can do?

Any reason why it has been closed?

I have no idea why this post was closed. I believe this was done in error perhaps – I’ll chase it up with the other admins.

I don’t remember closing it — unless I clicked it accidentally in my sleep!

What version of PHP is in your MAMP build?

In your .htaccess file in the root of your site, try adding this line at the very top:

php_flag display_errors on

Instead of getting a blank page you should see the PHP error that’s tripping up the page. It might or might not be the same as the WARNING in your log file. Warnings don’t always kill the scripts entirely.
