I want to create a DS that outputs the raw Markdown encoded content, instead of transformed into HTML. Is that possible?

Not natively, nope. But you can use one of the HTML-to-Markdown XSLT templates to attempt to convert it back. Rowan might have a clever idea for a Symphony DS approach though.

Okey. It’s is for the transfer of content between old and new site I struggle with. Turns out it wasn’t so easy to accomplish after all…

I have used such a template, but realy would like to solve it more elegantly by just using the markdown that is readily in the DB. I’d think an option in the DS to provide MD would be just a hack away?
