Why no XSLT 2.0?

Wow, neither have I, but I would happily cheer them on with that.

Also, I know the Nokia Connection site id built on Symphony and XSLT!

Would this be included with PHP distributions, or an additional component to be installed?

My best guess is that it will compile option, just like the current libxsl. The thing is, xsl isn't that important to the php community.
