I install on openSUSE 11.1 and I did the installation according to http://getsymphony.com/documentation/installation/ I am able to do the installation. When I return to the installation it tells me that it is already configured.

When I go to the page index.php I get the error from Synphony ‘Page not found’ http://getsymphony.com/documentation/interface/ tells me that I should be able to login, which is not the case.

Did I miss something? What other info is needed?

If you have installed a balnk version (without sample data) then you will need to go to example.com/symphony. This should give you the login screen for Symphony’s backend. If you have been loading example.com, then the message is expected, since you have not created any pages yet.

Hope that helps!

Have you enabled mod_rewrite, which allows .htaccess rewrite rules?

And don’t forget AllowOverride +All in your VirtualHost settings.
