I was editing some images that are associated with different posts. however, there isn't an easy way to identify what post those images are associated with. is it possible to add the section name that those images are associated with next to your DS name?

This makes good sense, and I think it should definitely go in for RC1. The section name text can also link back to the referring section to help with navigating between hidden sections.

what do you think might be better though: scott, your suggestion of linking back to the section or linking back to the images section to see the full list of images for that post/entry? or is the latter also what you meant?

Hmm.. I think links for both would actually be useful. I'll try to find somewhere to stick 'em.
