I just stumbled upon Symphony and I’m getting the “Symphony needs an XSLT processor such as LibXSLT or Sablotron to build pages.”

I’d like to install Symphony on a VPS at Linode.

Ubuntu 8.04 Apache version 2.2.8

I found a couple of how-tos:

http://www.techsww.com/tutorials/libraries/libxslt/installation/installing_libxslt_on_ubuntu_linux.php

…but this doesn’t seem to be all I need to do.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Sam

I guess that just compiling LibXSLT isn’t enough but be sure that you installed it correct.

Maybe this might work: apt-get install php4-xslt php5-xsl

That did the trick! Thanks!
