Installation of Symphony 2 Beta gives PHP version error on mediatemple gs

Chances are you need to make some changes to your Media Temple GS set up. Can you confirm the PHP version by appending ?info to the end of install.php.

This thread might be helpful. I'm on (gs) and have two installs running. To clarify, the way (gs) sets the PHP version to 5 is via an .htaccess file, which, when Symphony is installed, will need to be overwritten. I solved by placing MT's .htaccess one level up, in the domain folder.

Yep, Thanks, It was showing PHP 5 in the root but 4 in the directory. Actually it's easy to change from the control panel per domain so mediatemple is still good.
