Symphony.

Hi,

I am new to Symphony, so forgive me my ignorance. The CMS has been recommended as stable and design friendly, but i haven’t yet seen any examples or featured extensions creating forms of integrating with social media platforms. I am primarily interested in using Facebook Connect functionality as a login mechanism.

Are there examples of the use of Facebook Connect as a login mechanism on symphony sites? How difficult is it (would it be) to build such an integration? Is integration with social media platform in general a point of development within the Symphony?

i’m not too familiar with fb connect, but isn’t it primarily frontend validation? or do they have a backend api you can also connect with?
