Symphony.

Spending more and more time at this very Forum and repeatingly pressing ⌘-R I decided to create a Symphony SSB with Fluid. But I wanted more than just a separate program. I made a kind of shiny icon and started developing a UserScript. The UserScript provides a badge with the number of unread forum posts for the Dock icon, some links to its context menu and Growl notifications for new forum posts.

In a next step I would like to add Growl notifications for Extension Issues. (Are Email notifications coming?)

I assume that everyone using Fluid knows how to add icons and UserScripts to an SSB. The UserScripts sends requests every 2 minutes, I don’t want to stress the server too much. A new Growl notifications automatically marks the discussion as read because it sends a request to the discussion page to get the post information.
